A 34-year-old married female patient was diagnosed with social phobia, a mental disorder mainly characterized by fear of speaking with a stranger. When the Internet was introduced as a tool in behavior therapy, the patient managed to learn to talk, develop, and maintain a contact in the cyberspace.
