The author presented a case of Astrocytoma of the right Thalamus and hepatocerebral degeneration simulating Hysterical Neurosis Conversion Reaction Usually cerebral lesions lead to Neurosis but in this case ther are lesions considered quite unusual in the apparent precipitation of Hysterical Neurosis. The interest in this case however lies in the fact that the syndrome was of emotional and personality disturbances concerning the Limbic System and Thalamic lesions.
