The Rorschach Test has been used in Suan Saranromya Psychiatric Hospital as an instrument for psychodiagnostic evaluation in both children and adults. The interpretation and analysis of such special test has not yet been satisfactory enough to fulfill the diagnoses. This is attributed to the occidental standard of living. The theory of Rorschach can be influenced by cultural differences which really exist, in many ways between western and oriental countries as Thailand. Furthermore, the subcultures in different parts of Thailand herself vary from that of the capital. The article deals with the natives of the south. The study is made in order to provide a standardization for southern people. The process is done through performance of individual tests on 100 subjects; 50 men and 50 women, differentiated into groups by their age, education and occupation. The result comes out with resemblance to that of the occident in many parts. Yet the difference is simultaneously discovered mainly in the total responses. However, the study cannot possibly cover all levels of people in each province due to such small number of subjects. Nevertheless it can serve as a basis for Rirschach technique; the location and the content of the southern people's imaginations. The author does not purposively inted to ude it for advanced psychoanalysis. The incompleteness of the report requires further study in the futhure.
