The author analysed the hospital records of Marihuanan addicts admitted to Somdet Chaopraya Hospital during the last 6 years. The study revealed that the majority of the addicts had the history of prolonged use of Marihuana. It is believed that the psychotic symptoms were of reactive emotional state. Only a few were from hallucinogenic effect of Marihuana.
