The purpose of this experimental research was to study the effect of assertive training on the interaction with other people of adolescent schizophrenic patients of Somdej Chaopraya Hospital in Bangkok. The sunjects of twelve adolescent schizophrenic patients were selected from the adolescent schizophrenic patients whose score on the interaction with other people were low. The subjects were exposed to the assertive training program. The research instruments were the interaction with other people checklist and the assertive training program. The data were analyzed by the Wilcoxon's Matched-Pairs Signed-Ranks Test. The result of the study indicated as follows : The interaction with other people of the adolescent schizophrenic patients exposed to the assertive training program significantly increased at .01 level.
