The ageing or the aged is a period of decline or a time of loss, experiencing failure or success. They act as a text book of life. The younger generation should not reject and neglect them and must try to help them. Special problems, psychodynamic aspects of behavior pointers towards successful retirement, preterminal and terminal phase of life and helping the dyeing person are described
