Three cases of erotomania associated with paranoid schizophrenia were reported and discussed. The syndrome of ertomania consists of a delusional belief, usually in a woman, that a man of higher social status is in love with her. There are two forms-primary and secondary. In primary form it has a sudden onset in the presence of a clear sensorium and without the characteristic features of schizophrenia, and is considered to be the case of paranoia. In secondary form the syndrome of erotomania occurs in association with other schizophrenic symptoms.
