The purposes of this study were to study the effects of the development of nursing records on the effectiveness of nursing recording and the knowledge in nursing recordings of nurses in the In-patient Department, Lerdsin Hospital. Sample were 106 register nurses, technical nurses and 102 patient records after discharge. The findings showed statistical significant difference (p‹.001) between the effectiveness of nursing recording for each from and total prior and after the development of nursing records and alse a significant difference between the nurse's knowledge in nursing recordings prior and after the development (p<.001).
