The article is divided into two sections. The first section is a case report of a male pseudohermaphrodite with hypospadias who, following careful investigations and psychiatric evaluation, under-went surgical operation for sex reassignment to become a male. Five year period of regular following up of the case revealed satisfactory result in adaptation of the patient. Emphasis is made on significance of team approach for treatment. The second part deals with review of literatures about sex reassignment in psychologically abnormal persons, which is in progress of study.
