ชื่อเรื่อง/Title: Initial Recognition by Relative of Behavior in Schizophrenic Patients

แหล่งที่มา/Source: Journal of The Psychiatric Association of Thailand, Vol. 37, No.2, April-June 1992, Page 120-128

รายละเอียด / Details:

Fifteen newly-treated shizophrenic patients were retrospectively studied at Psychiatric. Outpatient Clinic at Siriraj Hospital in 1990. Decmographic data were similar to those of other studies. Mean average of duration for progression from prodromal phase to acute phase was 26.2 months. The relatives only recognized psychotic symptoms in the acute phase, and this was the reason why the relatives and the patient did not come to see the psychiatrists in the prodromal phase. Reasons why the relatives did not recognize the significance of the prodromal phase are discussed.
