The subjects of this study consisted of two groups : 45 runaway children, and 15 guardians of runaway children. The moral judgement test was developed by the author, and consisted of 30 hypothetical situations in which the subjects had to indicate the appropriateness of the actions of the people involved in each situation. Percentages of responses and chi-squares were used in analysing the data. The of this study was that there was no significant difference in moral judgement between runaway children and their guardians, but there were differences in the reasons given for the judgement.
