This is a statistical research on epidemiology of schizophrenia in Chulalongkorn Hospital. The study was done in 50 schizophrenics hospitalized during April-December, 1972, compared to a control group of various psychiatric disorders other than schizophrenia. The findings are in some aspects similar to, and in others different from thise in western countries.
