Incest is an iterested topic among psychiatrists, psychologists and socilolgists but the paper on this subject is rare. This paper is based on Lunianowicz's study in 1970 at Co. antrim, ireland. He found that patenal icest, espectially father-daughter incest, was the most common. The social class of the family was class V. The father of the family seemed to be inadequate, aggressive but the mothers were dependert, infantile and attached to their own mothers. The grils who had incestous relationship night develop promiscuity, frigidity and some neurotic reactions; however, some showed no ill effect. In Thailand, there was a new report in Thai-Rath newspaper recently, concerning a man who had sexual relationship with his own daughteer since she was 12 years old. This case was on trial at the Provincial Court, in Karnchanaburi. He was sentenced to proson for 29.5 years. Unfortunately, a psychiatrist had no opportunity to evaluate this case.
