The study is an attempt to identify the personality trend of amphetamine psychosis patients through Rorschach inkblot responses. Previous research works focusing on basic personality relating to amphetamine psychosis patients were limited. Therefore, A comprehensive study is likely to seek for certain characteristics of personality that can predict the prone of drug abuse or ease to relapse, also for psychological testing benefits including adaptation in therapy, rehabilitation and prevention as well. The objective of this study is to discover the major features of Rorschach responses which reflect the personality trend and the weak points of personality that can used to predict the risk factor of drug abuse. The descriptive research was conducted by psychological testing to the outpatients or inpatients of Somdet Chaopraya institute of psychiatry. A group of twenty samples range of 14 to 24 years of age had selected for purposive study. The variable independents were range of ages, level of education, level of intellectual functioning, length of time for usage and dependent variables were quantitative and qualitative responses. The samples were administered individually by Rorschach inkblot test with klopfer scoring system and standard progressive matrices. Data with klopfer scoring system and qualitatively through use of means, frequencies, percentage and interpretation. The result of the research gives the whole picture of responses. The highest score in location is w (50%) and the proportion of wide is contradicting to the characteristics of inkblot. The comparison of responses from psycho gram is similar to normal group. The content responses mostly likely tame animals. These kind of responses reflecting the personality trend of weakness, passive-dependent, immature, and introversive. Such performance is beyond to the limit of their existing intelligence level. These such kind of the trend should be aware of.
