The purposes of this research were to study the state and problems in preventing and solving narcotic drugs in Lopburi secondary schools as well as to compare the state and problems in preventing and solving narcotic drugs in the schools between internal and external local government areas. The samples of 401 were the preventing and solving narcotic drugs in schools boards and general teachers. These were drawn by the stratified sampling technique. The instrument was the questionnaire anout the state and problems in preventing and solving narcotic drugs in the schools 3 categories which were the planning, the implementing and the monitoring & evaluating. The data were analyzed by arithmetic mean and standard deviation.Moreover, t-test was utilized to analyze the data. The findings were as follows: 1.The state in preventing and solving narcotic drugs in Lopburi internal and external local government area secondary schools was rated at a high level. The problems in preventing and solving narcotic drugs in Lopburi internal and external local government area secondary schools was rated at a low level. 2. There was a significant difference of the state in preventing and solving narcotic drugs in Lopburi internal and external local government area secondary schools at a .05 level the implementing of preventing and solving narcotic drugs in Lopburi internal local government area secondary schools was higher than the external. For the planning and the monitoring and evaluating were not significant differences at a .05 level. There was no significant difference of the problems in preventing and solving narcotic drugs in lopbiri internal and external local government area secondary schools at a .05 level.
