This research describes our studies on the rate of amphetamine recurrent usage, causes of the recurrent usage,and supportive elements to prevent it in post-therapeutic patients. Mae Moh hospital. The sample groups in this study were 324 patients, who had been treated in our hospital in the fiscal year of 2001. All those patients have, then, beenre-examined one four months after their first examination. The variables in this research are general information, health problems, symptoms after therapy, factors for recurrent drug udage, factors for quit the drug and rate of drug abuse. The researcher team has created a questionnaire to categorize patients, and a data-collectin routine to test existence of amphetamine in urine. These data have been analyzed using descriptive analysis. The results of the research have found that the majority of the patients have never been treated elsewhere. The health problems are Paranoid 3.3% auditory hallucination 2.6% then after one and four month of therapy, the recurrent usage is 37.84% respectively. The factors for recurrent usage are peers' pressure 23.38%, being among the society that the majority use the drug 16.42%, depression 14.93% . On the other hand, the factors that prevent the recurrent udsge are knowledge sbout the drug and is effects 38.22%, improved relation among family members 34.05%, and a concern of not being accepted by the society 14.38%. Also, other important factors are a careful treatment performed by the physicians, a follow-up supervision from the staff in the hospital 14.85%, the acceptance the patient received from the community 14.44%, self-respect 12.36% , and dharma ethnic in the community 8.81%. This research believe an emphasis on acknowledging patients to have self-respect, along with requiring their family to take part in the treatment process is an effective form of the drug therapy such as psychological therapy Matrix program or Ton-Gla camp, The factors that continuous follow-up after therapy, especially the follow-up of local health officer in the area and the bilding of acceptance of community to post-therapeutic patients.
