Sakaeo Psychiatric Hospital is the only one psychiatric hospital in the East of Thailand . We have duty in psychiatric treatment and especially drug (amphetamine) dependence treatment that is urgency program of the government, Amphetamine dependence treatment program is called Matrix that is 70% effective in USA. Sakaeo Psychiatric Hospital have outpatient department amphetamine dependence treatment program more than one year. We found that the most problem and obstacle on POD case is traveling to the hospital. So we apply outpatient to inpatient program for more effective treatment program. When the patients are discharged, they will be followed up in community and school. Inpatient department amphetamine dependence treatment program is the program of the Mental health Department that can resolve traveling problem. We adjust the inpatient program from patients culture because we hope this program will suitable for them. We adapt this program for them to use in their usually ;life. When the patients are discharged from this program, they be treated in their amphured hospital for convenience. Not only re can follow the effective of treatment from the amphur hospital, but also we can help and correct the community to treat drug dependence.
