Srithanya Hospital, the 1,430 beds hospital for psychiatric disorder was established and opened on 24 June 1941, on the original purpose to be a community of psychiatric patient and the place for psychiatric rehabilitation by agriculture. In the present, Srithanya Hospital has developed comprehensive psychiatric care system between hospital and community by using referral system to network and try to set up mental health clinic/ psychiatric ward in general hospital. Community Network Cooperation Innovations 1. "Friends Shop" (from the concept of normalization and "stop exclusion") 2. "Community Model" in Rehabilitation Program (from the concept of group home / community rehabilitation center) 3. Patient's family Club (Kalayanamitr Club) (from the concept of self help group / consumer consultant program) 4. Pilot Project for patient's employment
