Background and Development At the beginning of the year 1998, Schizophrenia's family & relatives who were trained in Schizophrenia relapsing prevention (2 days training course) had joined together and set up the club named was "Mind Protection Club" by using the concept of Self Help Group. Later we changed the name to "The Club for Schizophrenia's family and relatives" in August, 1998. After that at the end changed the name again to "Kalayanamitr Club". (in the meaning of Schizophrenia Companionship) Club's Members consist of Schizophrenia/psychiatric patient's family & relatives, Schizophrenia-psychiatric patients and other (who want to be attendants). The main objective is to be a center of members for discussion, experience sharing and activities participation in Schizophrenia caring. More activities and Innovations for club's strengthening 1. "Puern Rak Sukapapjit"-mental health magazine for members, made by members and distribute to the public every 4 month. 2. Vocational and Social Skill Training by volunteer members. - Every Monday, 09.00-12.00 A.M. at "Friend's shop" 3. The Client's Employment Pilot Orifice (for recovered psychiatric patient)
