A report of three experimental cases study using the principle of Operant Conditioning to control and correct the behaviors of mental retardates done at the department of Psychology, Panya-on Hospital Bangkok. Time-out procedure and Token Economies techniques were applied. The authors suggested that Reinforcement technique could be satisfactorily used with psychotic and neurotic patients or event with normal classroom as well as mental retardates. The most important factors of the whole procedure is to get the key persons, i.e.. The father, mother and those who are in the position to take care of the child, to be truly involved and understand the basic-principle of human general behaviors. The very important quality that such people need in order to do the job successfully is to have emotional stability, regularity and great patience. Three successful cases are presented in this article.
