The present study is designed to obtain responses of normal Thai to the Rorschach Test. The results may be used as the norms in comparison with responses obtained from psychiatric patients in clinical works. The samples employed are 330 males and 170 females. The age range is from 14-52 and the educational background from grade 4 to university level. The group Rorschach technique is used for the administration of the test. Klopfer's Scoring system including location, determinant, content and popular response is adopted. The findings regarding the total responses for ten inkblots and the locations employed in the present study are not significantly different from those of Klopfer. As for determinants, the normal Thai give the very high percentages of form responses and markedly low percentages of color and movement responses. The responses given by the normal Thai include variety of contents as categorized by Klopfer, but the highest percentages among all are animal responses. The popular responses for each card can not be obtained from the present study. However, the frequent or common responses for each are nearly the same as Klopfer's popular responses. With regards to certain aspects of the normal Thai personality as revealed by the interpretation of the psycho gram, the Thai are generally introvert and restrained in their responsive to strong emotional stimuli from the environment. Nevertheless, they are not completely passive and their potential to be aggressive is also noted.
