The comparative study of CPI personality characteristics between 207 juvenile delinquent males at Chiang Mai Observation and Protection Center in October 1983, and 612 normal male high school students who were registered in the first semester of the 1982 academic year in both government and private high school in Amphoe Muang Mai province revealed that the former was significantly different from the latter at p‹0.001 for 12 scales, namely, dominance (Do) capacity for status (Cs) ,sense of well-*being (Wb), responsibility (Re), socialization (So) self-control (Sc), tolerance (To) communality (Cm), achievement via conformance (Ac) achievement via independence (Ai) intellectual efficiency (Le) flexibility (Fx) and at p<0.05 for good impression (Gi)
