The records of 323 heroin-users attending at Out-Patient Treatment of Drug Dependence Clinic of Samut-prakarn Hospital in nine months period from January to September 1986, were analyzed. It was evidenced that more than 95 percent of young men at 25 to 34 age group with their unskilled labor work, experienced with "On-Line" heroin. The main factor leading to be an addict was "Curiosity". They attended the clinic not because of seeking for "Cure" but to have some relieves due to shortage of money to blue heroin. The limitation not only of personnel as social workers, psychologists and others, but also budget effected undauntedly on the follow-up stage of treatment.
