From October 1997 to March 1999. Physical examination, mental health evaluation and multiple personal and psychiatric cerebrovascular health questionaires were studied in 100 recurrent CVD patients (case) and 150 non recurrent CVD patients (control) who had attended at prasat Neurological Institute. Data were collected and analyzed by a case-control study analysis using odds ration and analysis of nonlinear regression to study psychiatric risk factors in recurrent CVD. Risk factors that were statistically significant related to prevent recurrent CVD were personal factors reguarding occupations and psychiatric risk factors including appropriate mood, appropriate judgement and appropriate behavior.
