The future of Thai youth is acause for grave concern. Thai youth’s problems are becoming worse and more complex. Prof. Sompong Chitradab, a Chulalongkorn University’s Faculty of Education lecturer, has published his research work on the behavior of Thai youth. He has outlined 12 harmful due to poor parenting; 1. are becoming less intelligent due to poor parenting; 2. are weakened by drug abuse; 3. are becoming more aggressive because if widespread pantographic materials; 4. are learning about sex much earlier and improperly; 5. are committing more internet crimes; 6. have become more materialistic; 7. are more self-centered and less socially conscious-taking and not giving; 8. lack cultural roots, religious values and national identity; 9. are more stressed, have to compete more and more and are much unhappier; 10. use others’ success as something to copy without any sence of right or wrong, 11. gamble; 12. avoid and unable to do hard work. It is high that Thai society as a whole help to revolutionize ways to seriously prevent and solve Thai youth’s problems before these are so severe and complex that they are beyond help.
