The purposes of this descriptive research were to evaluate the attainment and impact of services, provided by hospitals participating in the first period of the comprehensive and Continuum of Care Program (CCC), as perceived by HIV/AIDS patients and their families in the Central and Eastern regions of Thailand. The subject were 44 HIV/AIDS patients and 27 family members selected by stratified random sampling technique. Qualitative data were obtained using semi-structure interview questionnaire (service attainment and perceived quality of life) and focus group guideline. Quantitative data was obtained using the stress Self Analysis Test with the Cronbach’s alpha reliability of 0.86. All instruments were tested for content validity. The statistical used were frequency. Mean, standard deviation, and content analysis. The major findings were summarized as following 1. Service attainment it was found that the majority of subjects 1) received the comprehensive care including physical, psychological, and socioeconomic care, and had a high satisfaction with them although the service attainment might vary depending on the readiness of each hospital; 2) received the continuum of care time to time but lacked of follow up cared in the home and community setting. 2. Impact of services it was found that 1) ninety percent of HIV/AIDS patients had scores on perceived total quality of life in the high level and higher than before participated in the CCC program; 2) almost half of HIV/AIDS patients(44.7%) and family members (42%) had stress scores in the above normal level.
