Caring for people with dementia is burdensome, which leads to physical, psychological and socio-economic problems on carers. There is a greatest need for health professionals to pay more attention on these problems, in order to help carers to reduce their burden and stress and to enhance quality of life in both people with dementia and their carers. This paper focused on literature reviews, particularly, on how to identify carers, problem in caring, effects and gains from caring, carer’s needs, and intervention on carers.
