ชื่อเรื่อง/Title: THE CORNELL MEDICAL INDEX-HEALTH QUESTIONNAIRE(CMI).

แหล่งที่มา/Source: Journal of The Psychiatric Association of Thailand, Vol. 24 No.3 July 1979, P 321-328

รายละเอียด / Details:

The CMI is a self-administered 195 questions-form. The questions are arranged in an informal language which can be understood by anyone who can read and write. It collects the whole history of the patients including physical and mental, without expenditure of the physician’s time. There are two forms of the CMI, one for men and the other for women. The questionnaire of the two forms are similar except six questions on genito-urinary systems are different. The CMI has been translated into Thai and used in 108 subjects at a teacher’s college, Bangkhen in 1975/76. The reliability is 0.90 by using the test and retest method. The Maudsley Personality Inventory (MPI) is also given to the same subjects and the correlation between the two methods is found to be quite high. The CMI is useful in general medicine and psychiatry because it gives rapid survey of the patient’s total medical problem and suggests immediately what matters need investigation.
