Eight cases of childhood psychosis with an age range from I year 8 months to 7 years were on a clinical trial, by given 1-2 mg/kg/ day of thioridazine Four of eight patients showed marked clinical improvement and the rest were moderately improved. In spite of prolonged medication, there were no adverse drug reactions reported, even in a very young patient. In addition the drug had also proved to facilitate the domestic management of behavior disorders manifested in these children.
