This study is about native healers and psychiatric patients before being admitted to Srithunya Hospital. A study has been made for one month (1-31 October 1979) by questioning relatives and the patients. Results, there are statistically significant differences in six, occupations, locality of residence type of patients who received native treatment. Discussion has been made as to background of patient on Psychosocial of patent and treatment according to native healers. At last the authors point out an available of native healers for primary health care.
