The authors reviewed published literatures regarding Gilles de la Tourette’s syndrome, and report two cases. Clinical pictures, course of illness, treatment and outcome of treatment were discussed. In spite of improvement of symptoms through use of haloperidol, the chronicity and psychosocial deterioration leads to unfavorable outcome. The authors emphasize the importance of early detection and treatment of this illness to prevent psychosocial deterioration which accompany the chronic illness.
