Two cases of anorexia nervosa with psychotic symptoms are reported with the stress on early diagnosis and early treatment of the psychosis and on the prevention of suicidal complication. Discussion in made on the underlying psychopathology of primary anorexia nervosa and the role of antipsychotic drugs in the treatment.
