The concept and the methodology of Foster’s technique were briefly reviewed. A case of an eleven years old boy, whose behavior problem effectively treated by using such technique was reported. A few parts of therapeutic interviews were illustrated. The advantages and disadvantages of the technique were discussed. The authors aimed at demonstrating Foster’s technique in a case of behavior problem, The authors believe that this report will be beneficial to mental health workers dealing with behavior problems in children.
