Failure of Freudian psychoanalytic psychotherapy since 1965 due to the changine world and family constellation. Kohut intriduced "self psychology psychotherapy" in 1965 and explained how this modern model treated the more-complicated character and behavior disorders successfully. Dynamic and process of mangement of a case with dependent personality disorder and severe fragmentation of self was reported. The patient was completely recovered after 5 years of treatment.
