Temperament of children is behavior pattern reacted to environment , which is individual differences and present at birth. In addition, environment is one of the factors that could modify the temperament of children. The purpose of this descriptive study was to examine the temperament of preschool children in Maesod municipality schools. The subject recruited by purposive sampling consisted of 276 mothers of preschools aged three to five years in Maesod municipality school. The instrument used for data collection was a temperamental questionnaire for preschool children. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics . The major results revealed that the temperament of preschools children in Maesod municipality schools was divided into five groups: the intermediate low 35.1% easy child 30.4% intermediate high 19.2% slow-to-warm up 9.4% and difficult child 5.8%. the results of this study could be applicable as preliminary data for parents and related personal in order to enhance child's development, personality, and mental health.
