HIV/AIDS epidemic in Thailand is still problematic at policy level. Preventive measures need to be assessed such as 100% condom campaign, education through mass media. This study aimed to describe sexual risk among school students in Bangkok Metropolitan Administration which could send the alarm of infection rate. Total of samples were 1,510 1,690 and 2,234 students during period of 2002-2004. A verage ages of students were 16.8, 16.9 and 16.8 respectively. In 2004, it revealed that 26.3% had their first sexual intercourse. Those sexually active students were more likely to be younger than 15 years old in the past three years. Counsistent condom uses were still low except when the male students has sex with commercial sex workers. Among female students, condom uses were about 33-34% Similarly, the male group used condom at about 35-43% consistent condom use during latest sexual intercourse was still low too. Bio-social factors such as being male. Having the allowance more than 2,000 bath per month, drug party attainment, using internet, alcohol consumption, drug abuse were significantly more likely to engage in sexual acts. Drinking alcohol and smoking cigarette were high among school students at 70% and 25% respectively. There was slightly an incresing trend of drug use such as met amphetamine, heroine and cocaine. The findings also suggested that level of condom use was decreasing when they were intoxicated with alcohol. It is concluded that school students were still less practice safe. Social order could control them fromgoing out to bars and clubs but not preventing them from private drug parties. Bio-social factors which influenced to their sexual risk could have learned and newstrategy would be appropriately implementing in school teenagers.
