To examine th eeffect of group counseling on problem-focused coping styles of teacher of children with special needs at Mukdahan special Education school. The population of this study was 20 teachers of children special at Mukdahan special education school. The subject were divided by simple random sampling into two groups of 10 subjects : or experiential group and a contact group. Both groups were given a pre-test for problem-focused coping styles. The experiential group then underwent a counseling program while the control group did not. Bith group were then given a post-test and the results were compared. The SPSS/PC program was used for analysis. The experiential group had a higher mean score in the post-test, but the difference between the groups pre-test and post-test score was not significant at a level of 0.05 the contact group showed no difference between pre-test and post-test scores.
