This paper aims to describe an emotional expression of the Isan people. The data drew from a qualitative study at an Isan community of Khon Kaen Province. A content analysis of data from observation, interviewing, and focus group discussion indicated that an Isan ideology, a belief of spirit, Buddhism, way of life, and gender are influencing on an expression of mood and feeling. An expression shown in the study included feeling of satisfaction, sad, anger, fear, boring, sympathy, and disgusting.
