รายละเอียด / Details:

This experimental study aims at proving whether an appropriate program of learning will enable students to improve their IQ level UIQ as the outcome of the interaction of three factors heredity learning and environment is the baseline of this study. However, the focus is on the learning process only. Subjects in this study are forty-one undergraduate students. Programs of learning are developed by the researcher basing on the multiple factor theory of thurstone. In all, there are 7 factors. Students who volunteer to participate in this program are required to continuously practice all lessons in the program. The program is one research tool. Another on is standard progressive matrices test (SPM). SPM is used as the pre-test and post-test in this study. It is found that at the end of the experiment, IQ levels of most subjects 90% increase. The results confirm the principle that IQ level is heightened by appropriate learning programs. The weak points in this study are the small sample size and SPM measures only factor of intelligence. It is therefore, unable to indicate which dimension of intelligence that increases. There should be a follow up study of GPA of these subjects after training to see whether the increase of IQ correlates with the academic achievement, Other kinds of IQ test with subscales should also be used in similar studies to enable to identify the increased dimension of intelligence.
