The purpose of this research study was to identified the mental health and mental health caring behavior of the community psychiatric practitioners. The relationships between personal factors mental health and psychological self care of the community psychiatric practitioners were to explored. The sample consisted of 152 health practitioners who worked in primary hospital and health station selected by random sampling. The instruments was standardized GHQ30 developed by Thana Ninchaikovit and psychological self care developed by Jintana Yunibhand. The data were analyzed by percentage mean standard deviation correlation and multiple regression analysis The results indicated that community psychiatric practitioners had 80.3% regulated scores on mental health and had moderate scores on psychological self care. There was significant relationships between education and psychological self care at the .05 level, while economy, family relationships and family burden were significantly related to mental health at .01 and .05 level. In addition, there were significantly able to predict between mental health family relationships, Family burden and psychological self care at the .001 and .0 level.
