Being diagnosed with HIV infection is perceived as received a death sentence. This article si aimed to present the result of case studies on the experiences of dying patients with AIDS in preparing for death and nursing care for the dying patients. There patients with AIDS were willing to participate and share their stories. The findings revealed although these patients accepted dealth their reaction to death dying situation included hopelessness, loss guilty and fear. Their expectations for living and dying were not to suffer and being with those who loved and understood. The aim of living at present was for their loved ones. All informants had prefared for dying and death in four dimensions; physical, psychological, social and spiritual preparation. An understanding of thinking process and death and dying preparation of a person with AIDS assists nurses to dedign nursing care plan for dying patients in order to support them to achieve good death.
