ชื่อเรื่อง/Title: Delirium Rating Scales: Issues of Consideration
แหล่งที่มา/Source: Journal of The Psychiatric Association of Thailand, Vol. 45 No.4 October-December 2000 P 347-353.
รายละเอียด / Details:
The objective of this article is to evaluate 4 delirium rating scales, including Delirium Rating Scale (DRS), Thai Delirium Rating Scale - Ramathibodi Hospital (TDRS-RH), Thai Delirium Rating Scale - Chulalongkorn University (TDRS-CU), and Confusional State Evaluation (CSE). The aspects of interest are their overviews, items, reliability, validity, samples, and responses to changes. In conclusions, DRS is a good measure for assessing the severity of delirium. TDRS - CU can be used for the diagnosis of delirium. TDRS - RH can be used for both assessing the severity and the diagnosis of delirium. For CSE, it is not much different from previous rating scales, e.g., Mini-Mental State Examination, Clinical Global Impression. However, CSE may be of benefit in assessing the severity and the change of delirium in elderly patients. .
