This examined the efficiency of treatment by Buddhism Program in the alcoholic out patient in Thanyarak Institute. The population are 34 worker officers in the Directorate of Armament. We used 1 year and 4 months. The activities were Pre-admission, behavioral mediation, Buddhism Counseling, Buddhism Fundamental, Karawasatam, To stop alcohol drinking, Ariyasajja 4, the base of meditation satiparthana 4, spiritual development and evaluation of the program. The second was the follow up program by 7 times in 1 year. The activities were Motivation, Empowerment, The Goal of stop drinking, Self control, Happiness and Proud and Meditation and self development. The data were analyze by frequency, Percentage, mean and standard deviation t (T-test statistic) the result of the research found that. 1. The percentage of population are male 97.05 average age is 44 years old average income is 14,509 baths per month they use one type to alcohol 70.59% the average time for drinking is 13.5 years, and 76.47% are alcohol dependent 57.1% use alcohol 40 degrees and 25.7% use 35 degrees. 2. Their emotion control between before and after passed program ins not difference in statistic (P-value=0.22). 3. The mean score about behavioral in alcohol use before is 67.16 and after is 70.16 which difference in statistic (P-values=0.046). 4. The ability in emotion control about alcohol use before and after program is not difference in statistic (p-valud-0.05). 5. There were 2 persons who can stop drinking for 1 year which is 5.88%.
