Down’s syndrome child with mental retard who have multiple dental caries, extremely incorporation and vomiting during dental treatment in dental clinic risks to have airway obstruction or hypoxia. When it is necessary to reduce oral infection, general anesthesia is used for behavior management to gain dental cooperation, to prevent negative attitude toward dentists and used for decreasing those risks. Dental treatment under general anesthesia has been effective with high success rate and provide total oral rehabilitation at a single operative visit. This report presents the procedure of dental treatment of Down’s syndrome patient under general anesthesia. The result of treatment was satisfactory. And review considerable risk involve each time during dental treatment in Down’s syndrome patients.
