Objective: To compare Quality of Life (QOL) among parents of mild mental retarded children with normal intelligent ones. Methods: We administered Comprehensive Quality of Life Scale-Adult (COM-QOL-A5) on 116 parents of mild mental retarded and 100 parents of normal intelligent children. We selected our sample through cluster random sampling. Data compared by independent samples’ mean t test. Results: Results showed that mothers of children with mild mental retardation had lower education with lower scores in Material Well-being, Safety, and Satisfaction scales, but higher scores in Productivity and Place in Community scales. But, their total score of Quality of Life had no difference. Conclusion: It meant that these parents have been adjusted with their problems.
