The objectives of this study were to measure the stress levels of personnel at the ASEAN Institute for Health Development, a health education organization, and to identify the factors affecting such stress levels with a view to reducing them. Basic Statistics and Chi-Square test were used to ascertain the levels of stress, and to find associations between various factors and stress levels. Results showed majority of respondents level (50%) reported moderate level of stress. Twenty-seven percent had high level of stress and only (4%) had extremely high level of stress. More than half of the respondents reported no stress in the following issue : such as colds, feeling sad, lost of appetite, one side headache, or lack of concentration. Work erors and mistakes were found to be a general cause of mild stress. More severe stress was found to be caused by failure to achieve work targets and goals, and by particular respondents' own specific health problem (e.g. Fibromyalgia, backache, etc.). The study also found that age was the only factor significantly associated with stress level (a=0.05).
