Method The subjects of this study were 400 samples, males and females were equal from five age groups; below 20, 21-30,31 - 40, 41 - 50, and above 50 years. The obtained data were analyzed by using Kuder-Richardson-20, t-test, level of difficulty, power of discrimination, factor analysis, percentile rank, and regression equation. Result The results presented the normative scores table and classification of IQ level of the Standard Progressive Matrices for the Thai population, which its mean score was 48.19. Gender identity did not effect mean score at .05 level. The reliability was .90, level of difficulty ranged between .29 to .99, which gave the mean of .68. Factor Analysis confirmed Spearman’s theory which implied that SPM measured “g factor”. Conclusions The normative score of the Standard Progressive Matrices could be converted to percentile rank and WAIS-R’s Full IQ.
