Pakistan is a developing country where psychaitric facilities are very scarce in number. In this scenario, the current research highlights that a large number of population remains unattended, as mental health professionals are available in only large cities. Every behavioral science has been introduced with theoretical and clinical teachinge of psychaitry. Keeping in view the need of psychaitric training WPA education section approved one-year psychaitric training certificate course for primary care physicians (PCPs) at Fountain House, Lahore, Pakistan. Free camps are organized annually; quarterly, monthly and weekly with the help of PCP's in the far away rural areas of Pakistan. Stepping towards 2020 in the region, World psychaitric Association (WPA) & South Asian Forum (SAF) are jointly organizing workshops, symposiums, conferences and training programs for mental health professionals.
