Objective: To develop model of integrating R2R in nursing practice, Maharat Nakhon Ratchasima hospital . Design: A Research & development method was applied during January-May 2007. The pilot setting was Pediatric ward, Maharat Nakhon Ratchasima hospital. Nineteen nurses, one head nurse, and one nurse supervisor were participating in this study. Data were collected by using in depth interviews, observations and dialogues. Qualitative data were analyzed using both thematic and content analysis. To increase trustworthy thinness, prolonged engagement, triangulation of data, peer debriefing, and member checks with participants were used. Quantitative data were analyzed by using descriptive statistic. Results: “Difficult but challenge “was a term used by participants in this study to explain the clinical research. The R2R was defining as research that emerges and could be really use in daily routine nursing practice. “Mentored was a significant person that participant refer. The Pain in pediatric patient” was a co-phenomena of interest that be selected to case study through continuously co-operate in phenomenon finding co-thinking co-problem solving, and co-research utilization. This process will promotes continuous nursing quality development through nursing research process. Conclusion and suggestion: The integrating R2R in nursing practice model was a continuous process that bridges gap between research and routine nursing practice. The research results could really integrate to routine nursing practice. However, results showed that mentor play a significant role in R2R process. Based on study findings, mentoring system for novice researcher is essential to delivering effective R2R in daily nursing phenomenon.
