The purpose of this Quasi-Experimental Research was to study effects of on the emotional intelligence’s development Program among the pratom suksa 6 students under responsible area of Nanoi hospital, Nan Province. The simple random sampling were divided into 2 groups of the Pratom Suksa 6 students, academic year 2005, 15 students of Ban Nong-Ha primary school as the experimental group and 17 students of Ban Na- Iuang primary school as the controlled group. The experimental group got the running of 16 activies of 60-90 minutes activity on the emotional intelligence’s development for 8 weeks, (two activities per week.) The tools used for this research consist of (1) the Mental Health Department’s activities of emotional intelligence’s development and (2) the Mental Health Department’s questionairs evaluated by students and teachers. Datas were analyzed by descriptive statistic, compared the different mean scores of emotional intelligence before and after running activities were tested by t-test. The result were : 1.Students who got and did not get running activities on the emotional intelligence’s development, had the different mean scores of emotional intelligence before running activities at .05 level of significance. 2.Assessed by student, students who got running activities on the emotional intelligence’s development, had the different mean scores of emotional intelligence before and after running activities at no level of significance. Assessed by teacher, students who got running activities on the emotional intelligence’s development, had the mean scores of emotional intelligence before and after running activities at .05 level of significance. 3.Assessed by student, students who did not get running activities on the emotional intelligence’s development, had the different mean scores of emotional intelligence before and after running activities of the experimental group at no level of significance. Assessed by teacher, students who did not get running activities on the emotional intelligence’s development, had the mean scores of emotional intelligence before and after running activities of the experimental group at .05 level of significance. 4.Students who got and did not get running activities on the emotional intelligence’s development, had the different mean scores of emotional intelligence after running activities at .05 level of significance. This findings were controversial because of assessed by students and their teachers, so they had different ideas with the situations. However, this study might support teachers and students to realize and improve their emotional intelligence and used this activities to develop their students.
